Parkside Hotel - Cleator

We had a good weekend here and recommend.

The property was in the middle of the city.

Particularly good and beautiful position was an added bonus. Besides, the hotel was 3 km away from St John's. There were well furnished, reasonably large rooms with great views, renovated bathrooms, as for instance. The breakfast was savoury and tasty by lovely chef, the food was lovely.

Some people working there were chatty.

New-fashioned, beautifully presented room complete with the bar, good view, for instance. The location is ideal, the staff is ever so helpful. Plus, the hotel is 6 km from Kinniside Stone Circle.

Really good breakfast experience

Staying at Parkside was a good experience. Clean, spacious rooms made relaxing easy, although I did notice some noise from the road. The staff's hospitality stood out, especially with the really good breakfast quality every morning, rounding off my stay perfectly.

I had a fantastic stay with lovely breakfast choices and spacious rooms. The bar had amazing draught beer. Definitely returning for more clean, warm comfort!

The cozy decor with warm colors, and the spacious rooms were surprisingly easy to navigate. I appreciated the thoughtful details that catered to seniors.

Nice vibes and comfy stay

We were a group here for one night, and from the get-go, the staff were super friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfy. Breakfast was a solid 10/10! It was a bit noisy with the traffic outside, but overall, it was a chill experience, especially hanging out with the manager at the bar. Definitely worth it.

This place suits me perfectly, offering free Wi-Fi, great breakfasts, and a lovely picnic area. I still remember how the staff helped me with a hot drink when it was cold. Already looking forward to my next weekend stay!

The Superior Triple Room was really spacious and comfy. Beds were soft, just right for a good night's sleep. Everything felt clean, and I liked the modern decor. The only slight issue was it got a bit light in the morning due to thin curtains, but overall a nice room to stay in.

Staying at parkside was a delight! Everything looked brand new and super clean. The standard double room was spacious, and the bathroom was a great size too. Breakfast was really good, setting us up for the day. The staff were friendly. We loved that it's near a lovely cycle path, perfect for exploring!

The room lacked a shelf or hook in the bathroom for convenience, made organizing personal products a bit tricky. It faced the road, so traffic noise was noticeable at times, and I tried a different room next visit. The ceiling lighting could use an upgrade, and only one bedside lamp left the space a tad dim. There were some noises from adjacent pipes and a slightly uncomfortable dining experience where it felt a bit rushed during breakfast. Minor details that could easily be fixed.

Recommend it for families looking for a quiet getaway

When we arrived, the staff were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was 10/10, we wouldn't hesitate to go back!
